Our client is looking to hire a Sr Data Center Technician.

Key Responsibilities
. Primary responsibility for installing, and maintaining high-end Unisys proprietary products as well as other high-end products such as HPE/SGI servers, networking devices/switches, storage arrays such as 3Par, Netapp DDN, etc. Provides support for both hardware and software. Typically handles more complex products, problems, and/or projects and may provide technical guidance to lower level engineers. Provides technical support to customer in solving technical problems that occur during the installation or operation of company supported products.
. Provides support for enterprise products such as HPE 8600, Jupiter 3 servers, network switches, etc.; enterprise storage products such as 3Par, Netapp and DDN; and networking products such as Cisco, Mellanox, etc.
. Performs server and storage break fix support
. May function as team or site leader providing direction to other technicians
. Will participate in standby rotation in support of after-hours maintenance contracts
. Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress. Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction

Requirements and Skills
. High school diploma or GED required. Background investigation and drug screen required
. Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph mandatory
. 3+ years of experience in a field service support role providing break/fix hardware repair for server and storage systems such as Dell, HP or IBM servers, Cisco networking, and Hitachi or EMC storage arrays.
. Advanced degree of knowledge of hardware and software including Unisys/Microsoft/Network operating systems. Advanced troubleshooting capabilities on software and hardware problems including DTS, Legacy systems, storage systems and interconnectivity problems. Linux OS experience preferred
. Security+ and Linux+ certifications highly desirable. Specific manufacturers’ certifications as required - A+, Network+, EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.
